TVS Motor Company has been preparing the launch of the Apache RTR 160 for a long time. The product is finally here and it is worth the wait. The customers were very excited about this bike as it had a bit of a cult following ever since its launch. TVS Motor Company did not disappoint and it made sure that the bike would be worth the wait. TVS had planned to make the most powerful bike in the segment which will be high in power and torque compared to the outgoing model and have better driving dynamics and features. 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V – Updated Engine
The proud owners of the Apache RTR 160 can boast about owning the most powerful bike in its class. TVS has redone the engine specs completely and that has resulted in increased power and torque figures. This time around, the Apache RTR 160 4V gets a 159.7 cc, single-cylinder with 4 valves and air-cooled engine which makes a decent 17.63PS of power at 9,250 RPM and 14.73Nm of torque at 7,250 RPM. Both these numbers are a notch higher than the outgoing model. This enhances the power to weight ratio of the bike and offers a spirited driving experience. The engine is mated to a smooth 5-speed gearbox.

2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V – Features and Prices
The new Apache RTR 160 is also rich in features as compared to the outgoing model. It comes with an all-new dual-tone seat with a carbon fibre pattern and LED headlamps with claw-style position lamps. These do give it an appealing exterior design with an enhanced comfort level. The performance will be enhanced due to the 2kg reduction in weight. The motorcycle with disc brakes weighs 147kg and the variant with drum brakes weighs 149kg.
The new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycle will be available in three colours: Racing Red, Knight Black and Metallic Blue. It will be available in two variants with prices: Disc Variant priced at Rs 110,320 (ex-showroom Delhi) and the Drum variant priced at Rs 107,270 (ex-showroom Delhi). The rivals of the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V are the Yamaha FZS-FI V3, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Revolt RV400.
