Maruti Suzuki is the largest car manufacturer in the country on the back of products like the Swift. As a matter of fact, Swift is the highest-selling car in the country for quite some time now. With regular updates, facelifts and special edition launches, Maruti has successfully managed to keep the Swift fresh as ever. Celerio was a relatively later addition to the Maruti family. But just by being a Maruti Suzuki, it was also able to achieve quite some success. Now both these successful offerings from Maruti are receiving an update. Although it might well just be a facelift, the buzz around these products is already very strong. Let us take a look at what to expect from each of these products.

2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift – Exterior and Interior
The highest-selling car in the country is due for an update and that will happen this year. The spy shots show that the front grille is covered which means that it will be a brand new design. We can expect that the new design will be similar to or inspire by the Swift on sale internationally. The front grille will definitely give the Swift a sporty stance and look. Apart from that, there may be an introduction of new alloys. Interiors are where we expect a more substantial makeover. The regular features like Digital Infotainment Touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Digital Instrument Cluster, Steering Mounted Controls, Push button start, Rear View Camera with sensors, ABS with EBD, Dual Airbags will be on offer.

2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift – Engine, Transmission and Prices
The Swift is expected to carry the same 1.2-litre multijet petrol engine that is on offer in the Swift Dzire. This engine produces 88hp and 113Nm and comes mated with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. There are no diesel engines on offer from Maruti Suzuki. We can expect the prices to be slightly higher than the current model which ranges from Rs 5.18 lakh and Rs 8.02 lakh, ex-showroom.

2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio – Exterior and Interior
Maruti Suzuki will also launch the new Celerio, which is placed below its mega-successful Swift in its lineup. The Celerio might get a bit sporty front with a new grille and bumpers. The rear has been spied in this image. Which looks a bit curved from the sides. The tail lamps look small-sized like the ones on the current model. Overall the look will be largely similar to the current model.
The interiors could change a bit as compared to the model on sale at this moment. The quality and styling of the interior of the upcoming Celerio will definitely be upgraded. Like Swift, the interior will feature almost the same functions and features. What we will see if they introduced an entirely new interior or update the previous ones.

2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio – Engine, Transmission and Prices
The new Celerio will most likely come with a 1.0-litre petrol or a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The 1.0-litre engine will make 68hp and 90Nm and the 1.2-litre will make 82hp and 113Nm. Both engines will come mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. The prices will also be increased in comparison to the current model which ranges between Rs 4.46 lakh and Rs 5.73 lakh, ex-showroom.
