The production-spec version of the facelifted Ford Ecosport has been spotted sans camo. This signifies that the launch is not far away. This is great news for all the Ford fans who were struggling with anxiety due to the potential exit of the carmaker from India. This is a reassurance, of sorts, that the company intends to stay here. Having launched the automatic variants of the Figo just a few weeks ago also points towards this direction. Now, the EcoSport is the most valuable product for the American carmaker in India. Although, the Endeavour, too, has a loyal fanbase among the off-roading community. However, it is not a large volumes segment and hence, Ford has to rely on the likes of EcoSport, Figo and Freestyle. The latest images represent the final version of the 2021 Ford EcoSport facelift. Here are the details.

The images give a generous view of the exteriors of the EcoSport from front and rear. The front houses new 7-shaped LED DRL units on the bumper, redesigned front grille with chrome belt surround, glossy black elements outside the grille, chrome elements on the grille, sporty skid plate, tweaked headlamps and upright stance. The rear remains untouched by the facelift with the only point of difference being the new design alloy wheels, one of which is mounted on the boot. The C-Pillar wears a shiny element that we are not fans of. One can tell it is a minor facelift as the entire silhouette and exterior styling remain almost similar to the current model.
