The upcoming facelift of Tata Nexon is expected to add more features, interior and exterior updates.
The process of rendering images not new but what it does that, it gives a slight idea of how the product may look like and here we have the facelift version of Tata Nexon which is scheduled to launch in 2020.
Yes, the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift rendering image looks stunning. Upon front, it carries rectangular shaped headlights which now gets chrome shaped strip running under them. Also, the lower and upper grille is redesigned along with the redesigned fog lamp housing.
The front look of the car looks more attractive and sportier than the ongoing model. To give the compact SUV a muscular look, it has been given flared up wheel arches. Also, the design of the alloy wheels have been changed and it looks quite stunning to the naked eye.

The body of the car looks stunning and the image has also ditched the silver accents running on the window line that is found in the ongoing model. We expect Tata to introduce more colour shade to choose from.
The cabin inside is expected to see an upgraded multi-function steering wheel along with a large touchscreen infotainment system. The availability of a factory-fitted electric sunroof and rain-sensing wipers are some of the features which might come on board.
Rest, the interiors will remain the same and new upholstery design can be expected from the company. Tata might also introduce an all-digital Bosch instrument cluster with the upcoming facelift of Nexon.
Safety-wise, Tata Nexon comes with two airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders and high-speed alert system as standard across all trims. We all know the fact that the Nexon is the top-rated car in terms of safety and the facelift can introduce more airbags for the higher trims of the SUV.

Talking about the powertrain, then it will continue to get a 1,.5-litre turbocharged Revotorq diesel engine and a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine. They produce 108 bhp and a peak torque of 260 Nm and 170 Nm respectively. Transmission option includes a 6-speed manual gearbox and an AMT.
The prices of current-gen Tata Nexon starts at Rs 6.69 lakh for the base trim and the top model fetches you to Rs 11.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford Ecosport.
