The new generation Mercedes S-Class will see a revamped design, new interiors with latest technology inside.
Looks like Mercedes is going to bring the 2020 S Class soon. It’s been quite a while that Mercedes has been testing their flagship sedan, codenamed W223. The car spied sported camouflage and highlighting the door handles which may be retractable.
The front fascia of the 2020 Mercedes S Class will see a new grille design which may be larger than the current-gen. Also, the signature LED Headlamps will grow in size and might come with the ‘digital light’ system. With a resolution of over one million pixels per headlamp, the system not only creates ideal light conditions for every driving situation; it also extends the visual support from our driving assistance systems.
The rear profile doesn’t look very surprising as it is camouflaged like one seen in earlier spy shots too. Not much can be said, but the car gets LED taillamps with trapezoid exhaust tips at the lower fascia of the sedan, hinting that this may be a higher version of the sedan, the S560.

Moving onto the interiors, the car will get a large centre console which will give them access to almost most features of the sedan. A new infotainment system can be expected along with climate control, ambient lightings, vehicle parametres as some of the features in the car.
The new S Class will also feature the newest MBUX system from the Mercedes which comes with intelligent voice control and augmented reality. It will receive leather upholstery with a brown and beige dashboard with plenty of customisations depending upon the buyers need.
The engine options are still not known but we expect it to be powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 or could also get a hybrid powertrain. Transmission options include 7-speed to 9-speed automatic gearbox. However, the above figures are based on what’s speculated as of now.
