The Jaguar F-Pace facelift features quite some cosmetic changes on the outside and it is expected to be completely new on the inside and could get a new mild-hybrid engine.
Jaguar would soon be revamping their entire model lineup and they really seem to be giving electrification a big push. The all-electric next-gen XJ sedan is already under development and the 2020 F-Type coupe has also been spotted testing warpped in camouflage several times. Now, a fresh set of images of the 2020 Jaguar F-Pace facelift has surfaced on the internet and this is first time that the 2020 F-Pace has been spotted.
Although the test mule came heavily wrapped in camouflage, there are some design elements that can be made out. To begin with, the headlamp assembly seems to have got a little sleeker and sharper than before. The hood also seems a tad bit more sculpted and the headlamps seem to have been positioned a little closer to the hood, making the face look more upright.
From whatever can be seen through the wraps, the grille seems to have been redesigned slightly but we can most certainly tell that the air dams below have been completely changed. Coming over to the sides, the new F-Pace facelift seems to retain the overall profile of the current model except for the fact that the test mule came with black-alloy wheels. At the rear, again heavily camouflaged, the tail lamps have been tweaked and look sharper than before and the bumpers to have been reprofiled.

On the inside, the new Jaguar F-Pace facelift is expected to feature more tech than ever. The F-Pace is even expected to feature dual-screens on the center console like we have seen with newer JLR models. The infotainment system too would be updated and there would be a new digital instrument cluster as well. Reports say that the rotary gear selector might be replaced by a conventional gear level.

The bigger update could however be under the hood. The Jaguar F-Pace facelift might be introduced with a mild-hybrid powertrain. In India however, the F-Pace is sold in a single iteration which is powered by a 2.0-litre four cylinder diesel engine. There was also a 3.0 Liter engine option on offer but that has been discontinued after Jaguar started local assembly for the F-Pace. The new F Pace is likely to arrive in 2020 and soon after its global launch will make its way to India as well. We are just waiting to see what engine options will JLR consider for our market this time.
