New leaked interior shots of the 2020 Hyundai Verna reveal that it will get fully digital instrument cluster and a new touchscreen infotainment system.
Hyundai is likely to launch to the facelifted 2020 Verna this month. Bookings for the new Verna have already commenced at dealerships for a token of Rs 25,000. Ahead of that, new interior spy shots of the facelift have been leaked.
The spy shot reveals the dashboard of the 2020 Hyundai Verna. First thing you notice is the new fully digital speedometer. It replaces the analogue speedometer from the BS4 Verna. A similar type of digital cluster will also come on the next generation i20.
Next thing is a bigger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is not integrated into the centre console, like the BS4 version. The infotainment feels more premium and will further get the Blue Link technology as well.

Other changes include a different dashboard colour theme, new AC vents and different seat upholstery design. The steering wheel looks the same as earlier with audio, telephone controls and cruise control settings. Actually, the interior design seems inspired by the new generation Creta.

The 1.5 Litre petrol engine will produce 115 PS, paired to a 6-speed MT and a CVT. The 115 PS diesel engine will also get a 6-speed MT but a torque converter 6-speed AT.
The third engine comes from the Venue, the new 1.0 Litre turbo-petrol three-cylinder engine. On the Verna, the engine will produce 120 PS and 172 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 7-speed DCT as standard. The turbo petrol Verna will be the most powerful in its class.
The new Verna will continue with many premium features, including Blue Link technology, LED headlamps, electric sunroof, wireless charging, ventilated seats, cruise control, rear AC vents and much more. Safety features will now get six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, vehicle stability management and auto-dimming IRVMs.
