The all-new Hyundai Verna is expected to hit the Indian markets by mid-2020. It gets a new powertrain, exterior and interior designs.
Several spy shots of the 2020 Hyundai Hyundai Verna facelift has been surfacing the internet for past few days. And now new images have been leaked ahead of the 2019 Chengdu Auto Show.
The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift has been spotted in new colour shade, goldish brown, some might say. The car showcased here might not carry the same design and India’s facelift of Verna is likely to see some different exterior design.
It gets a sharp cascading grille upfront which is now larger than before. The design has been borrowed from its elder sibling, Hyundai Elantra and Sonata. The latter has been discontinued in the Indian markets. The length of the car has been increased by 25 mm than its predecessor.

Also, the sedan receives a refreshed headlamp cluster along with LED DRLs. And it also receives a new bumper with satin grey bits and black plastic. The bigger chrome slats houses the Hyundai’s logo and the facelifted version adds a bit of drama to the front.
The side profile sees an all-new alloy wheel design while the top trims of the sedan might get dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, there is a light strip which connects the taillights. And if you ask about our opinions, then it doesn’t look good at all.
The interior details are not known but it will get a large touchscreen infotainment system and will come with connected car technology, just like the Venue. One can also expect tweaked dashboard design, new multi-function steering wheel, more storage spaces and among others.

The refreshed Hyundai Verna will somewhere launch in the mid-2020 and will set its competition with the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, Toyota Yaris and Volkswagen Vento.
