The upcoming Hyundai Verna is expected to launch in Indian shores by April 2020 and will come with a new set of engines. It may also see a new CVT gearbox.
The upcoming Hyundai Verna looks more aggressive and the cascading grille upfront is not larger than before. The undisguised spy shots gave us a clear glimpse of how the 2020 Hyundai Verna may look like and now recent images of the interior has been spied.
The interior spy shot was caught in South Korea and at first glance, the dashboard design of the 2020 Hyundai Verna more or less looks the same. You will see a large touchscreen infotainment system which is new.
Rest, the vertical AC vents at the centre console along with silver brushed accents, bottle holder, the multi-function steering wheel and among others. Also, the new Verna is expected to get more knee and headroom.

Talking about the exteriors, the sedan packs some new headlight design along with large cascading front grille. The foglight housing will be new as well as the front bumper will now be more aggressive than before. Hyundai Verna could also come with a range-topping LED headlamps.
The side profile is more or less than the same except for the new 16-inch alloy wheel design. At the rear, the taillights are now lean and connected at each end which doesn’t look very pleasing. A new rear bumper design along with diffuser could come in place.
The ongoing Hyundai Verna is a feature-loaded car and nearly all of it will continue with the upcoming facelift. In addition, we can also expect the BlueLink connected car technology to continue with the Verna.

Talking about the powertrain, the India spec version of Verna could get BS6 compliant engines. Also, a new 1.5L petrol and diesel engine could come on board along with CVT gearbox. The Chinese spec model will be launched in 2019 and the sedan is expected to be ready for Indian shores by April 2020.
