Next-generation Hyundai Creta is expected to launch in India in 2020 with new 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines along with a 7-seater variant.
There is no doubt about the fact that the next-generation iteration of the Hyundai Creta is currently under development. The recent buzz in the Motown suggests that the South Korean automaker’s compact SUV could get its second generation to upgrade sometime during the year 2019 with it reaching the Indian shores by the first half of 2020.
Since the product is still in its early stages of development, most of the details regarding it are still under the wraps. Another interesting “rumour” going around is that the next-generation Hyundai Creta, which is going to launch in India during 2020, is going to have a seven-seat variant in addition to a five-seat variant. If this turns out to be true, then the overall dimensions of this compact SUV will no longer remain compact and can easily match up to those of the Tata Harrier and the Mahindra XUV500.

A recent set of spy images of an under test Hyundai SUV, which seems to be the next-generation Hyundai Creta, showcases what the interiors of this vehicle’s interiors are going to look like. Though not much can be seen in these images in terms of the exteriors profile, the images of the cabin reveal that the door pads are going to get soft-touch materials. In addition to this, they cabin, ditching the current Creta’s beige-black combo, will now feature a much more premium white-black colour scheme with silver highlights.
Prices for the new iteration of the Hyundai Creta will increase to some extent. One of the main reasons for this is going to be the introduction of BS-VI complaint engines. While the other will be due to the increase in the overall size as well as features and creature comforts.
