The new-gen Hyundai Creta will discontinue the 1.4L & 1.6L diesel engine for a smaller 1.5L Engine. The latter will be tuned to two power outputs.
The next-gen Hyundai Creta is all set to be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and the same and even before its launch, we can confirm the engine and dimension details for the SUV. The engine will be BS6 compliant and it will be bigger than the ongoing model.
Just like the Kia Seltos, the 2020 Hyundai Creta will come in three engine options – two petrol and one diesel engine. The motors will be BS6 compliant and it will also offer the turbo petrol which produces a whopping 140 bhp with a peak torque of 242 Nm.

The diesel engine on the upcoming Hyundai Creta will be BS6 compliant making it fuel-efficient and more refined.

The dimensions for the Next-gen Hyundai Creta also called as iX25 in the Chinese market measures, 4300mm in length making it 30 mm longer than the current-gen. The wheelbase is longer by 20 mm and width inside is 10 mm wider making the cabin roomier and spacious.
These dimensions stick to the Chinese market but more or less will be the same when the car comes to Indian shores. We can expect an increase in the height of the car knowing the Indian road condition.

The upcoming Hyundai Creta will get revamped exterior and interior design starting with the split headlight design followed by the same to the taillights. It also gets a new dual-tone alloy wheel and square wheel arches.
The cabin inside features a tesla inspired large touchscreen infotainment unit which will come with the BlueLink technology. A fresh dashboard design, new multi-function steering wheel and plethora of features could come to the new-age Hyundai Creta.

What more with the upcoming Creta is that it will come with two-seating configuration, the normal 5-seat which will enter the Indian markets first followed by the 7-seat configuration which is expected to hit by 2021 in our country.
Once launched, the SUV will compete with the likes of Renault Captur, Nissan Kicks, MG Hector, Tata Harrier and Kia Seltos. The prices are expected to start from Rs 10.51 lakh for the base trim to Rs 16.7 lakh for the top-end model. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
