For the month of October 2020 Hyundai Creta again registers highest sales among all the SUVs, making it the most popular of all.
The new 2020 Hyundai Creta was launched in March this year just days before the country wide lockdown began and till now, it has completed 9 months. Since then, it has maintained its high demand and popularity in the market. During lockdown, so many people booked the new Creta that the waiting period soared up to 3 months.
Now, again for the month of October, 2020 Hyundai Creta has topped the SUV sales chart. While it comes 6th on the top selling cars of October 2020, it is the highest selling SUV beating the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue. For that particular month, Hyundai recorded 14,023 units of Creta being sold.

Brezza is the second best selling SUV recording 12,087 units sold that month. The new entrant Kia Sonet is also not far away, registering itself the third best selling SUV for that month. The new comer recorded 11,700 units sold and from the past 2 months, it has reported the same figures. Venue and other SUVs are not seen in the top 10 selling cars list as well.
Among 14,000 units of Creta sold, nearly 7,600 diesel units were sold and the rest 6,400 units sold were petrol variants. The ratio is nearly 60% scored by diesel variants, which defies the current BS6 transitioning trend. While many manufacturers have decided to discontinue diesel engines as they felt that its demand will be low, Hyundai is proving them wrong.
Till last month, Hyundai received more than 1.15 lakh bookings for the new Creta and probably till now, it must have easily crossed the 2 Lakh mark. The new generation model gets tons of feature upgrades, completely new engines, refreshed styling and exciting gearbox options as well. Prices start at Rs 9.89 Lakhs going up to Rs 17.20 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
