The SUV sports a new 2.0 Litre turbo-diesel engine, replacing both the 2.2 Litre and 3.2 Litre engines. The engine will produce 170 PS and 420 Nm of peak torque. This makes it more powerful than the 2.2 Litre diesel engine but a lot more underpowered than the bigger 3.2 Litre engine.
Further, the 2020 Ford Endeavour comes paired with a new 10-speed torque converter AT. This replaces the 6-speed AT as well as the 6-speed MT in the BS4 version. The 4X2 variant will offer a claimed mileage of 13.9 kmpl and the 4X4 will offer 12.7 kmpl.
Like earlier, this engine is offered with 4X2 as well and 4X4 configurations. For off-roading, it gets a four-wheel-drive system, an active transfer case with Torque on-demand, electronic rear differential locking and Four Terrain Modes – Normal, Snow/Mud/Grass, Sand and Rock.
