2020 BS6 Tata Harrier has been teased which shows that the SUV will get some cosmetic upgrades, updated engines and minor feature additions too.
Tata has just launched the new Altroz along with the facelifts of Nexon, Tiago and Tigor. After that, we all know what’s coming next. At the launch event, Tata teased the 2020 BS6 Harrier which will get a mild facelift as well.
Noticeable changes are that it gets new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. There’s the new colour option with a dual-tone blacked-out roof. Also, in the teaser, Tata confirmed that it will get a panoramic sunroof on the top-end variant.
In the current Harrier, there is a manual sunroof which comes as part of a package. Also, it sports 17-inch alloy wheels, which will be replaced. All these changes expected to come on the Harrier Dark Edition as well.

2020 BS6 Tata Harrier will further continue with the same 2.0 Litre turbocharged diesel engine. However, the power figures will be jacked up from current 140 BHP to 170 BHP. The peak torque will remain the same at 350 Nm.
Also, we are expecting Tata to finally bring an automatic gearbox for the 2020 BS6 Harrier. As reported earlier, a Hyundai-souced 9-speed AT gearbox will be used. However, there is yet no official word from Tata for the same. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.
Recently, the prices of Tata Harrier have increased yet again. The SUV now starts off at Rs 13.43 Lakhs up to Rs 17.30 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Once the BS6 engines are introduced, the prices are expected to increase by a significant margin, likely under a Lakh.
