2019 Yamaha R3 design images are leaked and it looks like it gets some revisions to the body. Mechanically, it will continue with the parallel twin engine. It mainly rivals against the Kawasaki Ninja 300.
Yamaha has been giving pure performance motorcycles for many years, now. Right from the RX 100 to R1, all are well known for its quick acceleration figures. In India, the most popular ones are Yamaha R15 and FZ-S. This year, the third generation of the R15 was launched in India. It received a huge makeover with some of the latest features onboard. Now, we get some patented design images of the 2019 Yamaha R3. Looks like this bike also gets a serious makeover.
The 2019 Yamaha R3 gets toned down muscles, making it a sharper looking motorcycle. The front panel will be revised and the 2019 iteration will get a bigger air intake. Since it is a bit sharper, it looks sportier than the current generation R3.

Some revisions are also made to the fuel tank and it gets Yamaha’s trademark gills. However, the alloy wheels, the rear portion, and the exhaust muffler designs remain the same as the current R3.
Currently, the R3 comes with Telescopic fork suspension in the front. The 2019 iteration will come with USD forks in the front suspension. However, the global spec will definitely come with that and we do know about the Indian version.
The Indian version might get inverted forks, which are also seen on the R15 V3. The seating arrangement will be a proper committed riding style but will ensure pure comfort. Rest of the design things will be continued from the current-spec Yamaha R3.

Mechanically, it will continue with the same 321cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine. The engine produces 42 BHP of max. power and 29.6 Nm of peak torque. Some reports suggest that the 2019 Yamaha R3 will get the Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Most probably, the 2019 Yamaha R3 will be unveiled at the EICMA 2018. Following this, the bike will launch in India after mid-2019. In India, the R3 competes with the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300, Benelli TNT 300 and BMW G310 Twins. Amongst these bikes, it squarely aims towards the Ninja 300.

Recently, the prices of the Ninja 300 were reduced. The move was done after heavy localization of spare parts, which reduced the costs. Also, the prices were reduced to bring it in competition with the BMW G310 twins.
