The next-generation Toyota Camry is based on the all-new TNGA-K platform and comes with larger dimensions, better cabin and improved ride quality.
The next-generation 2019 Toyota Camry is all set to launch in India on the 18th of January this year. Ahead of its launch, as its units start arriving at the dealerships, a recent set of spy images completely reveal the India bound model. The 2019 Camry is based on Toyota’s all-new TNGA-K platform which has led to an increase in this luxury sedan’s dimensions. Not only this but with this generation update, Toyota has also worked on improving space on the inside, fuel-efficiency along with its ride quality.
In terms of its exterior design, the 2019 Toyota Camry looks a lot sharper than before. Up-front it comes with sleek headlamps and a rather peculiar bumper design which predominantly appears to adorn a multi-slate layout. In addition to the exterior design changes, the Camry now rides on a new set of multi-spoke alloy wheels as well.

The cabin of the new Toyota Camry also features a major design alteration. It comes with a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new MID in the instrument cluster along with a head-up-display. Other features on the 2019 Camry include a 9-speaker JBL audio system, memory function for seat, steering and ORVMs along with leather upholstery, push-button start/stop to name a few.

The engine specifications of the new Toyota Camry includes the same petrol motor that was seen on the earlier generation iteration. However, the motor has been tweaked to now produce 18 BHP more. As a result of this, the 2.2-litre petrol engine now has a power output of 176 BHP along with 221 Nm of peak torque. This engine runs in sync with an 88KW electric motor with which, its combined power figure increase to 208 BHP. Expect this sedan to have a fuel-efficiency figure of 23.27 km/l.

Safety features on-board the 2019 toyota Camry will include ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control System along with nine-airbags among others.
The 2019 Toyota Camry will be available in a total of 7 different colour options. These include Attitude Black, Graphite, Burning Black, Silver, Phantom Brown, Pearl White Premium and Red Mica.
