2019 Suzuki V-Strom 650XT has been launched and it gets some visual upgrades onboard. The price remains unchanged at Rs 7.46 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Suzuki has updated the V-Strom 650XT adventure motorcycle with some visual upgrades as part of the 2019 update. It now gets refreshed graphics, hazard lights and side reflectors.
Other than these subtle changes, other features and mechanics remain the same. Suzuki brings this update in response to the overwhelming demand for the adventure tourer.
Suzuki V-Strom 650XT continues with the same engine setup. It gets a 645cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine, producing 70 BHP and 68 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The bike gets a 20 litre fuel tank. With an expected mileage of 25 kmpl, it delivers a riding range of around 500 kms.
Features onboard include a digital-analogue instrument cluster, wire spoked wheels, Advanced Traction Control system, different riding modes, adjustable windscreen, a USB charging outlet and more.
Suzuki V-Strom 650XT uses 43mm telescopic forks with 150mm travel at the front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear.

For braking purposes, it uses Twin Disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the back, paired with a dual-channel ABS setup. The ABS can be switched off/on as per desire.
The ADV bike is 1405mm tall and gets a ground clearance of 170mm. The seat height stands at 835mm. It tips the scales at 216 kgs without any accessories.
Suzuki V-Strom 650XT competes with the likes of Kawasaki Versys 650, which is priced nearly Rs 80,000 cheaper, at Rs 6.69 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

It will also compete with the upcoming Benelli TRK 502, which is expected to be priced even cheaper at around Rs 5 Lakhs.
