New spy shots of the 2019 Maruti WagonR Stingray have been leaked, which showcase that it gets split-projector headlamps, similar to the Hyundai Venue.
Maruti Suzuki sold the Stingray variant on the earlier-generation WagonR and differentiated it with additional side skirts, fresh bumper styling and alloy wheels. It demanded a mild premium over the top-spec variant.
Maruti launched the new WagonR this year, in its third-generation with a new engine, refreshed styling and new features as well. As always, it gained immediate popularity in India, for being the most affordable and practical hatchback.
Last week, a spy shot of the new WagonR with different alloy wheels and different taillights were leaked. This indicated that Maruti might be planning a Stingray version of the new WagonR as well.
The new spy shot reveals that the 2019 Maruti WagonR Stingray might use split projector headlamps, similar to what is seen on Hyundai Venue. Instead of headlamps, there will be LED DRLs just below the bonnet line and the headlamps will be placed towards the end of front grille.

Another noticeable difference is the rear bumper which gets a plastic cladding at the bottom. The Stingray also came with such bumper extensions, which made it look like a sporty version of the WagonR.
There could be an addition of some features possibly, like rear parking camera, LED headlamps or projector headlamps or so. But these are just our speculations, and just like the earlier generation, the changes could be restricted to styling.
