We expect that the Indo-Japanese automaker will debut the same in our country ahead of the festive season this year. This generation update will see the Alto adorn a completely different persona in comparison to the model that it will replace.

The 2019 Maruti Alto is likely to be based on the HECRTECT platform. This will alow this hatchback to meet the upcoming safety regulations. In addition to a stiffer chassis, the next-generation iteration of this vehicle will also have several safety features as standard. The list will incude dual-airbags with ABS and EBD along with rear parking sensors and high-speed alert system.
The engine specifications of the 2019 Maruti Alto are a topic of continuous debate. There have been unconfirmed reports which state that it is going to come with a new 600cc petrol engine which will be turbocharged to meet the power requirements. The reason why this engine is in contention is that this motor is currently on sale in the Japanese spec Alto where it is available in BS-VI spec.

In terms of its feature list, there will be a sizable in an increase in comparison to the model that it will replace.
