The next-generation Hyundai Grand i10 is expected to launch in India this year itself after the debut of the automaker’s all-new sub-4-meter SUV.
The next-generation iteration of Hyundai’s compact hatchback Grand i10 is likely to make its debut in India sometime during the second half of this year. The automaker has already started testing this vehicle on Indian roads. And the latest spy images suggest that the project is in its final stages of development.
With this second generation update, the Hyundai Grand i10 is going to come with an all-new exterior design. The aesthetics of this compact hatchback will be in line with Hyundai new design philosophy. What this means is that the exteriors of the Hyundai Grand i10 will be sharper to look at in comparison to the current model. However, spy images suggest that the side profile will carryforward some design elements from the current generation model.

The interiors of the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 are going to be completely new. The dashboard layout as well as the design for the door trims is going to be completely different. The instrument cluster is also going to get a new design and so does the central console and the central tunnel. Thanks to a new platform, the next-generation Grand i10 is going to is going to offer more space on the inside.
In terms of its features, the current generation Hyundai Grand i10 is quite a feature rich car already. It comes with features such a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, automatic climate control, steering mounted audio controls, rear parking sensors and camera, day and night IRVM among some other features.

In terms of safety, the second generation Hyundai Grand i10 is going to come with dual airbags with ABS and EBD along with rear parking sensors and high-speed alert system as standard. High-spec variants are likely to come with rear parking camera, day and night IRVM, rear washer with wiper and defogger. Prices for the new generation iteration are likely to increase by a small margin.
