2019 Honda Civic will launch in India on the 7th of March this year in a total of three variants and with a choice of petrol as well as a diesel engine.
The 10th generation Honda Civic is all set to launch in India on the 7th of March this year. This launch is going to mark the comeback of this premium executive sedan to the Indian market after a gap of almost 6 years. We last had the 8th generation iteration of this sedan on sale in our country from 2006 to 2012.
The 10th generation Honda Civic is going to launch in India with petrol as well as a diesel engine in its portfolio. The petrol engine is a 1.8-litre, naturally aspirated motor which is capable of churning out 140 BHP of power. The diesel engine is a 1.6-litre unit good for producing 120 BHP of power.

The petrol engine is mated to a CVT automatic transmission as standard. However, the diesel engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. Honda has no plans to introduce a manual gearbox in the petrol and vice-versa owing to the automaker’s market research for demand in the executive sedan segment.
The 2019 Honda Civic will go on sale in India in a total of three different variants. These will be V, VX and the ZX. The top-spec ZX variant comes loaded with features right up-to-the-brim. Some of the features of the new Civic include all-LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, 6-airbags as standard, lane-watch system, automatic headlamps and wipers among others.
