The 2019 Ford Figo comes with three engine options, three variants and a choice of two transmission units with seven colour options.
Ford India has today launched the 2019 iteration of the Figo hatchback in India. The compact hatchback is now available at a starting price of INR 5.15 lakh with the prices topping of at INR 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom). With this mid-life update, Ford has simplified the variant line-up of the Figo. This compact hatchback is now available in a total of three trim levels. These are Ambiente, Titanium and Blu; available on petrol as well as diesel.
Just as we saw on the Aspire facelift, the 2019 iteration of the Figo comes with a new 1.2-litre, TiVCT petrol engine. This unit is capable of churning out 95 BHP of power along with 120 Nm of peak torque. This engine promises a fuel-efficiency figure of 20.4 km/l. This engine is available as standard with a 5-speed manual transmission. This gearbox is an all-new unit and is 15% lighter in comparison to the older unit.
The diesel engine for the 2019 Ford Figo remains the same. This is a 1.5-litre unit good for 99 BHP of power along with 215 Nm of peak torque. This engine promises an average fuel-efficiency figure of 25.5 km/l. This too comes as standard with a 5-speed manual transmission.

For is also offering a 1.5-litre petrol engine, the same as before with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine is capable of churning out 123 BHP of power. Its fuel-efficiency numbers stand at 16.3 km/l.
The new Figo will have a redesigned front fascia compared to its predecessor and feature a three-dimensional cellular grille. The fog lamps in the new Figo are integrated into the front bumper and will come with a chrome and Blue touch, depending on the trim. Headlamps with a black encasing in the new Figo deliver it a sporty look while there are the side and rear decals in the Blu trim for added flair.
The top-of-the-line Figo Blu will feature premium alloys and bigger 15-inch tyres. This trim will also offer rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and electrochromic inside rear view mirror (IRVM). With sporty blue and charcoal black interiors, the inside of new Figo will be fully equipped with several convenience features including push-button start/stop, reverse parking sensors and camera, best-in-class automatic climate control, USB slots among many others.
As standard, the 2019 Ford Figo is going to come with ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors and high-speed alert system. The top-spec Blu variant offers up to 6-airbags with the 1.5-litre, automatic transmission variant comes with ESP and electronic power steering.
