The 2019 Ford Figo facelift is all set to launch in India this week, here is the complete list of all the changes and upgrades it is going to come with.
Ford has finally decided to upgrade the Figo hatchback for the Indian market. It has officially announced that the 2019 iteration of the Figo is going to launch in India on the 15th of March this year. All the updates that this hatchback is going to receive will be in sync with the ones that we saw on the Aspire facelift. Hence changes will include a slightly revised exterior design, addition of a few features, interiors design alteration and the introduction of a new petrol engine along with a revision of its prices.
The exterior design changes will see the 2019 Ford Figo come with a new design for its front and rear bumpers. They will be given a touch of a premium layout with the help of the addition of chrome accents. Other alteration will include a new grille, slightly altered headlamps and a new set of alloy wheels. The rest of the design of the Figo will remain the same as before.

On the inside, a slight change will be seen on the instrument cluster of the 2019 Figo. While the central cluster is also going to get an all-new design. This will include an all-new infotainment system which supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play, new controls for the air-con control module and a few design tweaks on the central tunnel as well.
Apart from the introduction of these creature comforts, the Figo is also going to come with several safety features as standard as well. The list will include dual airbags with ABS, reverse parking sensors, seatbelt warning for passenger and driver and high-speed alert system.

The 2019 Ford Figo is going to get an all-new petrol engine in its line-up. The engine in question is a 1.2-litre unit from the American automaker’s Dragon series. This engine is capable of churning out 96 BHP of power. In addition to this, there will be a 1.5-litre engine on offer as well, this unit is capable of churning out 123 BHP of power. There will be a 1.5-litre diesel engine on offer as well which is good for 100 BHP of power. The 1.2-litre petrol engine and the 1.5-litre diesel engine will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The 1.5-litre petrol engine is going to come with a 6-speed torque converter automatic unit.
The previous generation of the Ford Figo fell in-between the price range of INR 5.59 lakh to INR 7.75 lakh. As we have seen on the Aspire facelift and the Endeavour, we can expect a slight decrease in the prices of the facelifted version.
