Ducati Diavel was reported to be sold out at the dealerships, which will be replaced by the new Diavel 1260. Latest spy shots indicate its near launch date.
Ducati Diavel 1260 is reportedly being launched in India by June 2019. Car And Bike has leaked a photo of the crate in which it was imported from Thailand, bearing the name of the motorcycle.
Currently, reports suggest that the less powerful Diavel is sold out completely. All the Ducati motorcycles are imported from Thailand as CBU. The 1260 will now replace the existing model in India.
The new Ducati Diavel 1260 uses a more powerful 1262cc L-Twin DVT, TestraStretta engine, that delivers 159 BHP at 9250 RPM and 129 Nm of peak torque at 7500 RPM.

Further, the new Diavel gets a new frame and swingarm for a better lean angle. New exhaust, wheels and suspension are also new. The tail portion has been tweaked as well.
It will be available in Standard and S variants, the latter being the top-spec one. It comes with 48mm Ohlins telescopic forks and Ohlins monoshock at the back. The standard variant is available with 50mm USD forks at the front and preload rebound adjustable monoshock at the back.
