The latest Youtube video shows that 2019 Bajaj Dominar is faster than the current/older one. The updated motorcycle is expected to launch this month.
The production of 2019 Bajaj Dominar has already begun and it has been spied at a dealership too. The latest video of the bike shows improvement in the acceleration figure as compared to the current one.
Dealerships have already started taking the bookings for the bike. They have assured that the launch will happen this month, probably in a few days.
As of now, there is no official statement on the changes in its engine. We expect 2019 Bajaj Dominar to continue with the same 373cc engine, but with a slightly improved state of tune.

The Youtube video shows the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 touching the top speed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. In this video, the 2017 Dominar is also tested. The upcoming Dominar has been tested in Leh Ladakh.
The old Dominar achieves a top speed of 49 km/hr in the first gear, 71 km/hr in the second gear and 92 kmph in the third gear. The RPM has been pulled up to the red limit.
On the other hand, 2019 Bajaj Dominar gives better results. It goes up to 57 km/hr in the first gear, 81 kmph in the second gear and 106 kmph in the third one.

Certainly the engine has been refined for better performance delivery. Reports say that this engine revision will produce less vibrations and will deliver a better mileage.
It will continue to use Duke 390’s 373cc SOHC liquid-cooled engine that puts out 35 BHP and 35 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Other than that, the new Dominar will get USD forks, revised instrument cluster, new digital screen atop the fuel tank, revised alloy wheels and twin-exhaust system.

With all these changes, Dominar will be a better package. The prices are expected to increase by Rs 10,000 or so. Currently, it goes for Rs 1.62 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
