At the press conference yesterday, the 2019 Bajaj Dominar was fully revealed in an official video release. It is expected to launch early next month.
After much spying and speculations, we have now seen the 2019 Bajaj Dominar. Bajaj Auto themselves showcased it in a new video relating to their brand.
Yesterday, Bajaj Auto sent an invite for a significant initiative. Later, it turned out that Bajaj has launched a new campaign under the name, “World’s favourite Indian’. The TVC of the campaign showcased the updated Dominar.
So, officially, 2019 Bajaj Dominar sees some mechanical updates. It gets Upside-Down forks, replacing conventional telescopic forks. A twin-port exhaust system is also seen in the video.

Earlier spy photos and videos suggest that the updated Dominar gets a revised instrument cluster with indicators for side-stand and tell-tale lights. It gets a small digital display placed on the fuel tank, which shows the time, gear position indicator, tripmeter, odometer and more.
Other mechanical upgrades will include a new catalytic converter placed behind the exhaust system. The exhaust note of the 2019 Bajaj Dominar will be more throatier and aggressive.
The video also shows 2019 Bajaj Dominar in White, Black, Blue and Red. Also, the golden-coloured alloy wheels are dropped off in the update.

It will continue with the same KTM-sourced 373cc liquid-cooled engine. However, the updated bike will see a more refined engine, which will be more fuel efficient and will deliver less vibrations.
The engine produces 35 BHP and 34 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The top-speed achievable on the bike is 148 km/hr.
The video shows the bike touring across many places. Naturally, Bajaj wants to create an image for the 2019 Bajaj Dominar as a comfortable and powerful tourer.

The prices are expected to increase by around Rs 12,000. Currently, it is priced at Rs 1.64 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It competes with Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Motorcycles, Mahindra Mojo and KTM Duke 250.
