We expect the engine to offer more refinement and less vibrations that the current one. With this, the mileage figures might also increase by a bit.
It will get the same 6-speed constant mesh setup. Other engine specifications remain unchanged. The original 373cc engine from Duke delivers 43 BHP and 37 Nm of torque.
The length, height, wheelbase and ground clearance of the 2019 Bajaj Dominar is retained. The width of the bike now stands at 836mm, higher by 23mm. The kerb weight has however increased by 2.5 kgs, from 182 kgs to 184.5 kgs.

The instrument cluster also gets some revision. It now shows dynamic fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, Active warning, Average Speed, Trip Time and Fuel range.
As mentioned earlier, the 2019 Bajaj Dominar will use USD forks instead of the conventional telescopic forks. It will continue with the front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS as standard.
We expect the prices to increase by Rs 15,000-20,000. Dominar is currently priced at Rs 1.64 Lakhs (ex-showroom ABS variant). It competes with the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Motorcycles and Mahindra Mojo.

We expect the poor sales of Dominar to be bolstered up by the updated version. For many months, its sales figures are lesser than 500 units per month.
