As of now, Audi is expected to launch the A6 in the petrol engine only and the diesel will follow the lead in next year.
The 2019 Audi A6 is the much awaited car in the country and the launch is scheduled for October 24. The all-new A6 is seen in the international markets and packs some new features and exterior design.
The 2019 Audi A6 is expected to launch in the petrol engine only. The 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor which churns out 335 bhp along with 500 Nm of peak torque. The four-cylinder engine will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard.
The upcoming Audi A6 continues with the new age design philosophy and packs some bold exterior detailing. Inside too, the A6 follows the technologically advanced features which are available in new models.

At the front, it receives a trapezoidal grille which possesses dominance over other cars in its segment. The LED headlamps also get detailed structure and the aggressive front bumper looks
The rear profile is where the A6 looks better than before. The LED taillamps are new and there is a chrome strip which joins the taillamps. The alloy wheels of the Audi A6 will get a dual tone treatment.
Dimension wise, the 8th gen Audi A6 measures 4939 mm in length, 1886 mm in width and about 1457 mm in height. This model is 7 mm longer, 12 mm wider and about 2 mm taller.

Inside, the new Audi A6 seek inspiration from the A7 and A8. There will be a new touchscreen infotainment system which will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There will be also a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit system and Audi will also bring an MMI Navigation Plus system.
Other features on the premium sedan include power adjustable front seats with memory function, Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System which delivers 3D sound and the dashboard will come with piano black trims and brushed aluminium.
The pricing of the new-gen Audi A6 will be revealed on Oct 24 only. We expect the A6 will see a price range of Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it will come with a BS6 compliant engine.
