2018 Range Rover Velar Exterior
The 2018 Range Rover Velar is a road-biased softroader with offroad capability. This translates to better performance on road than off it and with the Range Rover SUVs costing upwards of 50 lakhs, their owners almost never take them off the road. Sales numbers have proved that their customers prefer the SUV body type, be it the commanding position or go anywhere capability, these are the reason behind the company shifting its focus from off-road to on the road capabilities.
The 2018 Range Rover Velar is the most aerodynamic model(0.32 cd) in the company’s entire lineup. It is undoubtedly the most appealing as well. The Velar also has less inertia and is sportier and agiler then its siblings. Under the seamless body of the Velar lies the JLR’s IQ platform that also underpins the Jaguar F-Pace. The new flush door handles add to the aerodynamic styling of the SUV. LED lights with laser high beam enabled the company to shrink the overall size of the headlight assembly adding to the front facia appeal. The top line trim exclusively comes with 22-inch tyres further adding to the commanding posture of the Velar. The length, width, height and wheelbase of the Velar extends to 4,803 mm, 2,032 mm, 1,665 mm and 2,874 mm respectively.

The second screen doubles up as the control for the seat temperature, climate control and even Terrain Response functions. Land Rover offers the Velar with multiple trims and colour options including an exclusive Premium Textile.
