The 2018 Maruti Ertiga is all ready to launch on 21st November. The productions of the MPV has already begun as it receives a whole new generation update. The Ertiga will get feature additions, new engines and revised bodywork.
Production of 2018 Maruti Ertiga has begun ahead of its scheduled launch on November 21. The bookings of the MPV have already begun at a dealership level. Maruti Suzuki has started producing 100 units daily to suffice its upcoming demands. The new Ertiga gets bigger, better and more feature equipped. It looks very similar to the Indonesian-spec version but is going to get more features. As of now, there is no MPV in Ertiga’s range. The leaked photos show that it gets a revised front grille, a more muscular bumper, projector headlamps and revised fog lamp housing. Also, the 2018 Maruti Ertiga gets heavy chrome highlights over the body along with a new set of alloy wheels. The rear portion of the Ertiga is also revamped to give it a more upright look.

The 2018 Maruti Ertiga will feature the new 1.5 Litre petrol engine, that came first in the Ciaz. For the diesel engine, it will use the same old 1.3 Litre DDiS diesel engine. Both the engines will come with the SHVS mild hybrid system. However, there are reports suggesting that later, the Ertiga might receive a BS-VI compliant 1.5 Litre diesel engine.
The petrol engine produces 105 BHP and 138 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine produces 90 BHP and 200 Nm of peak torque. For transmission, the 2018 Maruti Ertiga will use a 5-speed manual gearbox along with an optional 4-speed AT unit. The diesel variant might get a 6-speed gear unit.

Maruti Suzuki also offers a CNG variant with the Ertiga, which might be launched along with the new Ertiga as well.
The 2018 Maruti Ertiga will get features such as projector headlamps, Smartplay Infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, multifunctional steering wheel and many more such features.
There would be many additions to the safety features list. The updated list would include dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, speed alert indicator and ESP as standard fitments. The high-end variants could get 6 airbags, ISOFIX mounts, and a rear parking camera.

The pricing will mostly increase by Rs 5000-10000. Currently, the Ertiga starts from Rs 6.34 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 10.69 Lakhs (prices ex-showroom New Delhi).
