2018 Maruti Ertiga has been launched in India with petrol and diesel engines. Its CNG variant will be launching within the next 6 months. It will be based on the new 1.5 Litre petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki introduced the new-gen Ertiga in India. The new prices start at Rs 7.44 Lakhs going up to Rs 10.90 Lakhs. Currently, it is only available in petrol and diesel variants.
The earlier generation also came in CNG variant, which will also come in this generation Ertiga. Maruti has stated it will launch the CNG variant within the next 6 months. The launch has been delayed because the CNG kits have to be tuned to the new petrol engine.
Reports say that the 1.5 Litre K15B petrol engine will be offered with CNG as well as with the mild-hybrid SHVS system. Both the motors with CNG would offer even better fuel efficiency.
