2018 Honda Jazz Facelift is going to launch on 19th July. Before its launch, the details of its features, variants and various spy images have appeared online. The leaked photos suggest that the hatchback will not receive any visual updates and will look the same as it was earlier.
The Jazz is a very important product for Honda India. It is a popular premium hatchback going against the Baleno and i20. It received its last update in 2015 and since then many new cars have launched and some got their facelifts. The facelift version of the Honda hatchback is going to launch on 19th July. Jazz is the most spacious hatchback and has the biggest cabin space. We expected some visual updates along with a new features list. However, recently leaked photos say that the car receives no visual updates. Globally, it receives an extended bumper along with new LED tail lights. However, the feature list is upgraded, which is enough to match its competition. The 2018 Honda Jazz will continue to get the same engine specs.

The new features list of the hatchback includes dual airbags, ABD with EBD, rear parking sensors and speed sensing auto door lock, steering mounted audio controls, front centre armrest along with electrically operated ORVMS will be standard across all variants. Other features include Smart Key, Push Start-Stop button, Paddle Shifters, Cruise Control, Rear Parking camera and infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. These features are enough to make it a healthier competitor for the other contenders.
The engine specs of the hatchback remain the same. For petrol, it will get the 1.2 Litre i-VTEC engine and 1.5 Litre i-DTEC diesel engine. The petrol unit produces around 87 BHP of power and 110 Nm of torque. The diesel unit produces 99 BHP of power and 200 Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox along with a 6-speed unit for diesel and a CVT gearbox for the petrol unit.

We expect the prices to be a little high starting from Rs 6.5 Lakhs up to Rs 10 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Honda is always known for offering its car a little costlier than its competitors. But the premium quality of Honda is way more above than a lot of brands.
