Adventure bikes come in an almost dirt bike shape and offer some unique styling. They are fun to ride and definitely worth drooling over. Honda launched its iconic Africa Twin in 2017 first and around 80 units were sold in the first 100 days. Now, it has launched the 2018 Honda Africa Twin with the same design but with some added features. Honda is, unfortunately, launching only 50 units of the bike which will be available at its showroom. The bookings commence today and the bike is priced at Rs 13.23 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Showcased first at Auto Expo 2018, the motorcycle carries forward the three-decade-old legacy of the iconic Africa Twin. It features one-of-its-kind DCT transmission, which is found in some of the other Honda bikes. Here we list all the details of the bike.

2018 Honda Africa Twin – Design
The bike looks heavy and quite sporty. Thanks to its raw appeal and dirt bike look. In the front, it gets twin LED headlamps above the sporty tyre fender. The headlamp cowl also consists of a windshield, flanked by air fenders. It gets a beefed up fuel tank with a low lying seating arrangement. Over the body, there are a lot of decals and some blacked out elements. It also gets a skid plate covering the engine from the bottom. The exhaust muffler looks pretty good adding some macho elements to it. On the rear side of the bike, there is a grab rail above the LED tail lights. Most of you would relate it to dirt bikes, which it looks because of its styling.

The adventure bike gets Front Showa inverted telescopic fork suspensions and Monoblock Cast aluminium swingarm with pro-link with gas-charged damper rear suspensions. It gets ABS in the front wheels with twin floating discs. In the rear, it gets a single ‘wave’ style disc brake.
