The 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes with a slightly muscular design in comparison to the model that it will replace. In addition to this, the design is inspired by the bikes elder sibling, the Pulsar 180.
Bajaj is currently working on an update for the Pulsar 150 for the Indian market. Currently, the Pulsar 150 is the best selling variant for Bajaj under the Pulsar brand. The bike is due for a facelift since a long time. This is because of the styling of this bike has seen no significant update in the last couple of years. To give us some more insight into what the 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 will look like, a spy shot of the bike has surfaced on the internet.
Going by this, the new Pulsar 150 appears to come with a muscular design. This makes it slightly more aggressive than the current generation model. There is no denying the fact that the new Pulsar 150 takes its design inspiration from its elder sibling, the Pulsar 180.

According to the spy image, the 2018 Pulsar 150 comes with flatter forks at the front end. These are the same unit which we see on the 180 variant. Also, it seems that with this update, Bajaj is going to introduce disk brakes both at the front and the rear. In the current generation model, the disk brakes are only available on the front wheels.
Another major change in the new Pulsar is the split set-up for the seats. While the current spec Pulsar 150 comes with a single saddle layout. Furthermore, the bike in the spy images adorns a black and blue, dual-tone colour scheme. We expect Bajaj to introduce more dual-tone paint schemes at the time of the launch. Apart from this, expect some minor changes on the instrument cluster as well.

It produces 13.8 BHP of power along with 13.4 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is available as standard. The front suspension of the bike comprises of telescopic forks while the rear gets twin spring gas-charged shock absorbers.
Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 retails at a price of INR 76,224 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Since the updated model is going to feature generous updates, we expect the prices to go up minutely. Expect the 2018 model to retail around the mark of INR 80,000. With this, it will continue to compete against the likes of Honda Unicorn, Suzuki Gixxer, and Hero Xtreme.
