Bajaj Auto has been very aggressive with new product launches and updating the existing model lineup sooner than later. The company aims at capturing the premium segment with fresher product launches every now and then. Over the past years, Bajaj has added several new products to its lineup and with the extensive research and development going into each vehicle, most have been successful in creating a new segment or leading an existing one. Accordingly, Bajaj plans to introduce several new products early next year right before the 2018 Auto Expo. The company did not participate in 2016 Auto Expo and will be repeating the same this year. Bajaj plans to host a press conference for the launch of new vehicles right before the upcoming show. The upcoming 2018 Bajaj Avenger facelift is expected to gain several visual changes aiding ergonomics and rideability. Like its competitors, Bajaj aims at targeting the millennials with updating their portfolio regularly. The design of Bajaj vehicles has been constantly moving to attract the younger audience with the introduction of bright colours and catchy graphics. The upcoming 2018 Bajaj Avenger facelift to carry this forward with several updates. The list of updates includes both the Avenger Cruise and Sport adorning bigger windscreens. The former was spotted with an updated split seat as well. The upcoming 2018 Bajaj Avenger facelift will carry over the 220cc engine albeit slight changes in the tuning and power delivery. Bajaj wants to deliver a cruiser like torquey performance from the Avenger series, therefore, is re-tuning its engine for optimum performance. The list of mechanical changes is not available yet and would be revealed when the new Avenger launches early next year. If reports are to be believed, Bajaj is going to introduce single-channel ABS on the upcoming Avenger that works on the front wheel only.
