Check out the expected launch date, price, features, and specs of the speculated Bajaj Avenger 400. Various rumors regarding its development are going around. We expect it to launch by this year-end or early 2019. Read ahead to get more details.
Bajaj Avenger is one of the most popular cruisers around town with its grunty engine and throw-away prices. It is the cheapest cruiser series in India. Currently, Dominar 400 is the most powerful Bajaj bike. However, it does not qualify as a proper cruiser. For that, we expect the Bajaj Avenger 400 to launch in India. Various rumors are around regarding its launch, and we expect the launch by year-end or early 2019. It might come in the Street series or the Cruise series, which is not sure yet. There won’t be many features like the 220cc Avenger bikes, but we can expect ABS on this bike. We expect it to be priced around Rs 1.4 Lakhs, cheaper than the Dominar 400. Also, there would not be any design changes on the new bike. Read ahead to get more details.

The Pune-based motorcycle company has always made it a point to price its models really very competitively. We saw the Dominar 400 going on sale at an almost astonishingly low price of around Rs 1.34 lakh. Now, it seems like its the Avenger’s turn to surprise everyone. The upcoming new Avenger model, in all likelihood, will offer marginally lesser power but slightly higher torque. For the Avenger 400, this engine is likely to output 34 PS and 36 Nm. The motor will come mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The motorcycle will get wider tyres, conventional long-travel telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. 2018 Bajaj Avenger 400 Design
The upcoming motorcycle is likely to be based on the Cruise trim of the motorcycle. That said, it will likely look a lot more premium than the 220cc version. We are impressed with the design of the Dominar 400, which looks like a watered-down version of the Ducati Diavel. Bajaj might come up with something equally attractive and neo-modern with the Avenger 400. One thing that is for sure is that the motorcycle will have a cruiser body type. We might even see bits like a round headlamp with LED fixtures, which will give the motorcycle a neo-retro look.
