2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Range Comes with Many Styling Updates
Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new 2018 Avenger range in Cruise 220 and Street 220 variants. The new 2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 cc models come with an updated styling and a handful of new features. The updated Avengers have gone on sale at an ex-showroom price of Rs 93,466. The styling updates that these new motorcycles carry should enable them to establish a stronger foothold in the fast-growing Indian cruiser market.
2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Changes
Both the 220 cc bikes come with new graphics, a completely revised tail fender, and an all-new halo-effect tail lamp. The new 2018 Avenger 220 Cruise comes with a new design headlamp with integrated LED DRL’s flanking the sides. The windshield is also new. Furthermore, there’s a new speedo console that incorporates a blue coloured backlit full function digital display. On the other hand, the 2018 Avenger 220 Street gets an amber coloured backlit digital display. Rounding of the updates is a new bikini fairing and a roadster-style rear grabrail.

The new 2018 Bajaj Avenger models come with a 220cc DTS-i engine that outputs a maximum power of 19 PS along with a peak torque of 17.5 Nm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The front-end gets long travel telescopic forks while the rear gets conventional twin shock absorbers. The company claims that the rear suspension has been improved with 12 % additional travel.

As the specifications remain the same, there won’t be any change in the mileage either. Safely expect the motorcycle to return up to 40 kmpl on the highway and at least 30 kmpl in urban riding conditions.
2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Colours
The updated Avenger Cruise 220 is available 2 classic colours – Auburn Black and Moon White. The 2018 Avenger Street 220, on the other hand, comes in Matte Black and Matte White colours.
