2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 Launch Price
The 2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 will be launched at a price of INR 83,400 ex-showroom Mumbai soon. Several spy shots of the test units of the Avenger 180 were spotted last year leading to the launch earlier this week. For those interested in ordering, can book one at their nearest Bajaj Auto dealership.
2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 Drivetrain
The new 2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 borrows its engine from the Pulsar 180. The 178.6cc air cooled, single cylinder engine is good for 17 bhp and 14.2 Nm of peak torque. We expect Bajaj to alter the engine tune a little to work in conjunction of the cruiser style motorcycle. The engine will transfer its power via a model specific tuned five-speed gearbox.
2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 Cycle Parts
Like its elder sibling, the 220, the 2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 comes equipped with a disc brake up front and a drum brake at the rear. ABS is missing on the new model as well. Other cycle parts on the upcoming Avenger 180 include regular telescopic suspension at the front and gas charged shock absorber at the rear.
2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 Visual Updates
The new 2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 features a flat handlebar that sits higher than the outgoing bike. The upcoming refreshed cruiser will sport black alloy wheels, a compact body coloured headlamp cowl, matte black exhaust with aluminium heat shield and the seat gets added padding for comfortable long-distance cruising. The Avenger 180 misses out on the digital tachometer that was otherwise spotted on the 220. Other than that, the two siblings are hard to call apart as they match almost all of the styling cues.
2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 Competition
The 2018 Bajaj Avenger 180 will compete with the likes of Suzuki Intruder 150, which it superbly undercuts by INR 15,000. It will be interesting to see how Bajaj separates the two siblings so they don’t eat into each other’s sales. Stay tuned for more info on upcoming bikes.
