In January 2017, Nissan India launched a mildly updated version of the Sunny sedan for 2017. It got minor cosmetic changes, while the mechanicals remained the same. Launched in 2011, the Sunny got off to a great start posting very strong number for Nissan India month after month. In 2014, Nissan launched a facelift of the Sunny that came with refreshed styling, and a new dashboard design. Now, Nissan has given the Sunny a price cut. The 2017 Nissan Sunny is available in three petrol and three diesel trims. The base petrol XE variant is now cheaper by a lakh almost. While the top end XV CVT variant is now cheaper by alomst 2 lakh Rupees now! The starting price of the Sunny Diesel is 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

2017 Nissan Sunny Changes
For the 2017 model year, the Sunny got a new Sandstone Brown exterior colour. Other additions to the exterior included chrome door handles. On the inside, Nissan offers the Sunny with optional black interiors. Highlights of the Sunny’s features list include

Specifications remain the same. The 2017 Sunny continues with a 1.5 L Diesel and a 1.5 L Petrol. Both engines come with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Additionally, the petrol variant of the Sunny can also be had with a CVT.
