Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India‘s CB Hornet 160R has been given a small update for 2017 in the form of new colour options and the now mandatory AHO (Automatic Headlamp On). The bike was already BS 4 compliant at the time of launch so, Honda hasn’t had to make any changes in that respect. Honda has priced the 2017 model CB Hornet 160R at Rs. 82,095 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The variant with Honda’s CBS costs Rs. 86,595. Bookings can also be made via the Andriod App available in the Android Play Store.

The Hornet 160R is powered by the same 162.71 cc engine that also powers the Unicorn 160cc variant. However, for the CB Hornet, the power and torque figures are slightly higher than what the CB Unicorn has to offer. Max. power stands at 15.04 bhp @ 8500 rpm and peak torque is 14.76 Nm @ 6500 rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed transmission. Also, the engine gets Honda’s famous HET for optimized fuel mileage.
