2017 BMW 5 Series India Review – Exterior Design
The new generation model builds on the design of the outgoing 5-Series. It borrows design cues from the flagship 7-Series sedan. BMW’s signature “Kidney Grille” is now larger and sits more upright with the headlamps neatly flowing into it. The sides feature a 7-Series like vent behind the front wheel arch with chrome or black detailing based on the trim. The overall, design bears some resemblance to the older car, a fact that is most noticeable in the rear angles of the 5-Series. Like most modern BMWs, the headlights, tail lamps and fog lamps are full LED units.
2017 BMW 5 Series India – Interior Design Review
Much like the exterior, the interior of the new 2017 BMW 5-Series is more of an evolution of the previous model’s design. The most notable changes inside are in the form of increased dimensions translating to greater leg space for the rear passengers. This should bode well with Indian buyers as these cars are predominantly chauffeur driven. Needless to say, the cabin will come loaded with features and technology befitting a car that costs 60 lakhs or so.
