BMW India, the Indian subsidiary of popular German luxury and performance car marquee, has added yet another variant to its 3-series lineup. The new 2017 BMW 320d Edition Sport has a launch price of Rs 38.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model is locally manufactured at the company’s Chennai facility. The new 320d Edition Sport doesn’t get any mechanical updates, but carries a handful of new features and visual updates.

2017 BMW 320d Edition Sport Specifications

Akin to other trims of the 320d, even the Edition Sport gets a 2.0-litre turbocharged Diesel engine tht comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The motor benefits from BMW’s TwinPower treatment and you can manually override the transmission using the steering-mounted paddle shifters. This engine outputs a max. power of 188 BHP and a peak torque of 400 Nm. The engine offers you four driving modes-  Comfort, ECO PRO, Sport and Sport+. As the names suggest, the Comfort model is for relaxed driving while the Sport modes for maximum performance. The ECO PRO offers maximum fuel efficiency.
