2016 Toyot Innova Crysta Launch Date
The 2016 Innova Crysta made its India debut at the Auto Expo recently, and this will be followed by a launch in the second quarter of 2016. Deliveries will commence immediately after the launch. However, there has been no official word from Toyota yet regarding the launch date and the delivery dates of the Innova Crysta.

2016 Toyota Innova Crysta Price in India
It is almost certain that the upcoming model will command a significant premium over the existing Innova with 2016 Toyota Innova Crysta prices expected to start at around INR 15 lacs. Toyota is expected to rebrand and sell the current Innova alongside the 2016 model to cater to the price sensitive taxi market. However, only the base variants of the old Innova will be sold and the top spec trims will be discontinued.

In the latest news regarding the new 2016 Toyota Innova Crysta India launch, it has emerged that unofficial bookings for the all new Innova Crysta have started at some of the Toyota dealerships in India. The booking amount for the new 2016 Innova has been kept at INR 50,000.

The 2016 Innova in Indonesia gets a 2.0-litre four-pot Petrol motor that churns out a max. power of 139 PS and a peak torque of 183 Nm. There’s also a 2.4-litre Diesel engine that belts out a max. power of 149 PS and a peak torque of 342 Nm, Both these motors come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, but the latter can also be ordered with 6-speed automatic gearbox. For the auto ‘box variant, the 2.4-litre Diesel engine churns out a peak torque of 360 Nm. The new 2.8-litre GD Series engine that made its debut at the Auto Expo 2016 is headed to India along with the smaller oil burner. This 2.8-liter Diesel motor belts out 177 PS and 450 Nm, and it comes equipped with a 6-Speed automatic gearbox. It has been confirmed that this 6-Speed AT will be offered in India and our guess is that other than the two Diesel engines, India will also get the 2.0-litre Petrol motor. The Innova 2016, when launched in India, will become the second MPV in the mass market, after the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, to feature an automatic transmission.

2016 Toyota Innova Crysta Design Review
While the exteriors retain the Van-like silhouette, the 2016 Toyota Innova has been styled along the lines of Toyota’s current design language. The front gets narrow swept back headlamps with projector units flanking a large, gaping grille. The rear, in comparison, is a bit bland featuring a slightly quirky setup for the taillamps. The MPV appears bulky when viewed from the side even though it omes shod with 17 inch rims
