New Mercedes E Class Edition E introduced in India
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been on sale in the India market for 20 years now and to commemorate this feat MBIL has launched the Mercedes E Class Edition E. Last year, the E-Class sedan got a very mild update in terms of features and equipment. Globally, the E-Class is Mercedes’ highest selling model with 13 million units sold till date. In India, Mercedes-Benz has sold 32,000 units of the sedan since its inception. The 2017 MY E-Class was unveiled globally recently and is expected to arrive in India in early 2017. Mercedes E Class Edition E – Price
The entry level E200 Edition E costs INR 48.60 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune) while the top of the line E350 CDI costs INR 60.61 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). 2016 Mercedes E-Class Edition E India price list is as follows:

Specification
The 2016 Mercedes E Class Edition E India specifications remain the same as before. The E200 gets a 1,991cc petrol engine with 184 bhp and 300 Nm torque on tap. The other two are diesel variants out of which the E250 CDI gets a smaller 2,143cc engine producing 204 bhp power and 500 Nm torque while the E350 CDI gets a 2,987cc motor which produces 265 bhp of power and 620 nm of torque. All three engines come mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 Mercedes E-Class Edition E has already gone on sale and is available in showrooms across the country. Its competition in India includes the BMW 5-Series and Audi A6. Other variants of the E-Class sold in India are the E400 Cabriolet and the E63 AMG.
