Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has introduced the 2015 Activa i and Aviator models in a bid to inject some freshness into the two scooters. The 2015 models of the two scooters were unveiled at an event in Hyderabad. This is Honda’s 8th new two wheeler launch in a span of just 6 months. There was also a special emphasis on Honda’s female audience with the highlight being the announcement of south Indian actress Tapsee Pannu as their brand ambassador. The updates made to the 2015 Activa i and Aviator models are purely cosmetic with the mechanicals remaining untouched. 2015 Honda Activa i and Aviator will be made available within a month at dealerships by the end of this month. Full price list is as follows:

The 2015 model Honda Activa i gets new colours so the standard variant now comes in 4 colours-
- Black (New)
- Pearl Amazing White
- Pearl Amazing White
- Autumn Beige Metallic
- Alpha Red Metallic
The deluxe variant features two new colours with floral graphics targetted specifically at young female buyers-
- Pearl Amazing White (New)
- Orchid Purple Metallic (New)
The Activa i continues to be powered by the same 110cc motor which produces 8 bhp @ 7,000rpm and 8.77 nm @ 5,500 rpm.
Meanwhile, the Aviator now comes with a brown inner cover which continues on to the seat finished in the same colour. There is one new colour on offer in addition to the existing range of paint shades:
- Silver Strand Metallic (New)
- Rebel Red Metallic
- Pearl Sunbeam White
- Ingenious Black
Apart from the new colour scheme there have been no changes made to either the exterior or the mechanicals of the Honda Aviator.
South Indian actress Tapsee Pannu was announced as a long-term brand ambassador for the endorsement of Honda scooters in India in order to increase its reach to the female audience.
