Facelift nowadays looks like an inevitable protocol followed by every other auto-giant. Audi, in its endeavour to keep up with the cut-throat competition and technology, has recently started revamping its bestsellers. First it was A8, then the 2015 A7 and now an A6 test vehicle was spied in Europe, heavily camouflaged. Cosmetic changes might be subtle, but a suite of technical updates will aim to keep the 2015 Audi A6 it in competition with Mercedes E Class and BMW 5 Series.
Judging by the spy images, the Audi A6 will carry a modified bumper and the new Matrix LED headlamps. The Matrix LED headlamps which were developed by Audi, has recently set the benchmark for technologically advanced lighting. One of the world’s first digitally controlled, glare free high-beam system vows to provide better and intelligent visibility in difficult weather, driving conditions and traffic. Individual LEDs can be operated independently, giving the driver greater illumination ahead without blinding the oncoming passengers and traffic. The Matrix headlight is relatively new and was first launched in the top-end 2014 Audi A8 L launched on 5th May.
