The car’s name is Sport, Range Rover Sport. This is how you tell the name of a car which gets unveiled by James Bond. At the New York Auto Show 2013, Daniel Craig took the wraps off the 2014 Range Rover Sport. It will be slotted between the Range Rover and Evoque and will be the car that most people will look for that is bigger than the Evoque but smaller than the Range Rover.
The car has a drag coefficient of 0.34 and gets LED daytime running lamps up front. Land Rover claims that the car is their most aerodynamic offering till date. The Sport gets lighter by 450 Kg than the Range Rover and powering it are the same engines found on the elder sibling. A 5.0 litre V8 engine which develops 510 PS and 3.0 litre V6 engine developing 340 PS are on offer which will be mated to a 8 speed ZF transmission.

Good news!: In an interview with Car Dekho, Mr. Rohit Suri, Head, Jaguar Land Rover India has confirmed that the new 2014 Range Rover Sport will be officially launched in India in September 2013.

The third row of the seats is power operated which gives it a nice touch. The rear passengers get individual seats. The car shares as much as 75 percent of the parts with the elder sibling, thus saving Range Rover a lot of costs in terms of parts. The car was launched in a grand ceremony by Range Rover where Daniel Craig was shown driving the car through the streets of New York with the police chasing him.
The Range Rover Sport will touch down on Indian shores in 2014 and seeing that the Range Rover has been received very well by the Indians, its younger sibling is expected to be a great seller too. It will rival the likes of the BMW X6 and seeing that X6 has not received a major update since a long time, the Sport will find itself a lot of takers. The car is expected to be priced around Rs.1.25 crore.
The charismatic and gaudy SUV has all the looks to steal one’s breathe and make the moment a frozen one for every single Individual. The artistic feature which is much about a point to talk is the roof line and the base or down line body of the SUV. It is given a dual touch hue body attraction which we usually see in toy cars, dream cars and rather in comics for the gaudy comic hero’s. This time it is a real sports utility vehicle designed by Range Rover. The contrasting paint work is the finely artistic job embedded with the powerful engine.
The nose and the back side of the car are broader and aggressive. The Front grille is smaller, head lamps and fog lamps are also smaller but then the powerful one. A sporty high end materiel is used to make the bumper where in a skid or scuff plate is also added. The rear end has again a smaller but designer back lamps, the rear bumper is broader and also have a silver painted skid plate too. The attraction for the rear end is the skid plate and the peeping dual exhaust pipes.
