Sony just released their hotly anticipated gaming console the PlayStation 4 and after the launch we saw a host of gaming titles for the console getting launched. And now you would be wondering as to why are we telling you about the PlayStation or its gaming titles. The reason is that the racing games see a host of real world cars doing the races and one such game which brings real life cars to your screens is DriveClub and the game features one of the most interesting cars of recent times.
DriveClub racing video game has a 2014 Mercedes CLA 45 AMG as a car which we believe will be the least priced AMG sedan. The game showcases the rear of the car and we can expect the car to be showcased at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The CLA45 AMG is the AMG variant of the CLA that the company is hoping will be the car to take them back to the number 1 position in the automotive market. The CLA45 AMG will share the MFA platform and majority of its parts with A45 AMG hatchback.
The heart of the AMG sedan will be a 2 lite, 4 cylinder turbo petrol motor that will belt out 360 horses which we believe would be pretty difficult to tame for an expert in driving, let alone a novice. This engine will come mated to a 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission and will come with anall wheel drive layout. The car will get a sportier suspension and AMG badging and the AMG kit to make it different from the stock CLA visually. The car will hit the stores in the later of the year 2013.
The car is available with a turbo diesel and a turbo petrol motor apart from the AMG version. The CLA sedan will make its way to the Indian roads in early 2014 as per our belief and seeing that the luxury car segment is witnessing a stronger demand than ever before, Mercedes Benz would not really like to delay its launch in India. The car will play company to the A-Class and B-Class models and will be assembled at the company’s facility at Chakan. The car looks drop dead gorgeous and if you can’t really afford it, you could always buy the DriveClub video game and race it though the streets.
