Ford India has given the Endeavour another refresh. The 2014 Ford Endeavour facelift will take care of things till the all new model hits our streets sometime in 2015. The facelift is a minor one over the previous update, so much so that they would have to be pointed out to some.
“At Ford, we are committed to delighting customers through continuous improvements in our products. Endeavour is a trusted nameplate and holds a special place in Ford India’s product portfolio. It has remained a vehicle of choice for customers who desire a dependable, muscular, rugged yet comfortable and safe SUV. The 2014 Ford Endeavour has been made more stylish, dynamic and comfortable while retaining its core DNA of an all-terrain vehicle,” said Mr. Nigel Harris, President Ford India.

What’s New?
Exterior Design
The Endevour facelift receives minor styling changes on the outside, the most prominent of which is the new front bumper. The bumper also gets new fog lamp inserts. The headlamps have been slightly modified, the dark tint on the top part of the unit has been removed. Though the company claims that the alloy wheels are new, we cannot differentiate between these and the ones on the last model. That’s it for the changes on the outside.
Interior
Changes here are very easy to miss. The trim has been slightly modified, that’s it. Equipment wise you still get the column mounted multimedia-system controller, centre-console screen with satnav and reverse camera display, on the fly 4WD electronic transfer case on the 4WD variant etc.
Specifications
The specifications for the Endeavour facelift remain the same. Engine options include a 142 BHP / 330 Nm 2.5-litre diesel mated to a 5-speed manual and a 155 BHP / 380 Nm 3.0-litre diesel mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The move seems to have been made to sell off the remaining units of the SUV before the new model is launched in 2015.
