The south Indian automobile manufacturer TVS have done a lot of commendable job in the two wheeler industry. TVS is one of the renowned company which deals in two wheelers. Some of the best products of the company are Apache, Scooty Streak, Wego and many more. There was a time when TVS Apache used to be the tough competitor for the Pulsar bikes, but then time changed. The era changed for Apache, and the Pulsar 200NS came in the market. The 200NS Pulsar had some of the wooing traits like, sharp edged body, heighted stance, broad alloy wheels and naked face. The company started from very simple model of Apache with cat shaped eyes, slight uplifted back, alloy wheels and the engine capacity with 160 and 180 cc. The model came in the market and became a segment stealer. Company got loads of competition in the market. The face lifted Apache had given some sales to the market but it did not exceeded aficionados expectations. Then company thought that this is the time to get an up to date and a comprehensive model of Apache in the market.
The auto major then came to the decision that they should exhaustively redesign their hot selling product to make more successful. The company has now started updating the teaser pictures on the social media sites and on its official website too. Company has given a clear hint of face lifting of the bike through bike’s images and tag lines, which says “the Beast seeks New Skin”. The second teaser tag says “The day of the dark knight”. One of the teaser images shows the rear side of 2013 TVS Apache RTR 180 and other shows the broken pieces of the current flesh of the bike’s body.
All in all by teaser images and the tag lines one can easily understand that there would be a change of the game. The face lift version of the Apache will be going to introduce first with the model of 180 cc engine and then might be possible company can trickle to the 160 cc engine housing siblings of the bike. There would be no mechanical change, and it is expected that the engine will make out 17.05 PS of maximum power. The company should focus on the restyling of the bike and as well as should also focus on getting more benefits by increasing the riding essentials. The riding essentials for biking lovers are well proportioned body, aerodynamic stance, maximum power and a peak torque.
